  • Are you curious about vaping CBD oil for chronic pain relief? He didn't simply send me away with a website, he actually sat down at the. People vape and smoke e-cigs for all sorts of reasons. Due to the ease of smoking, it's common for vapers to puff away all day long — not. Cannabis is now approved for treatment of chronic pain in New York State!.

    Pain the Vape Away

I was skeptical at first. I tried it in the morning. It usually takes nearly 2 hours for the morning aches to work their way to a managable level. The first morning, within a half hour I was up and moving. I still and probably always will have some pain and stiffness in my hands and feet due to the permaneant damage but I would say the CBD helps bring the pain in those areas down from an 8 to a 2, something that has never happened with any of my prescription NSAIDs.

I have found that it usually lasts for about hours at a time, depending on the level of pain I am feeling that day. So I tend to use it roughly times a day. I usually use it anywhere from times in a sitting. When the pain is bad, I use it more but I would say I average around 5 times to start to really feel the relief. I was initially referred to Cloud 9 by Mike at my local vape shop.

I use mg and find it to be effective. But, I have found my absolute favorite to be from CBDistillery. You can usually find a coupon code for discounts on the products. Even if I go up to the higher end, I will at the very least even out and save myself the potential health problems of long term NSAID use.

If you get confused, step back and take a break. Mostly because pain is so subjective- it is all based on personal perception. So trying anything really is a bit of a gamble. However, vaping CBD oil for chronic pain relief is something that I really wish I had tried a year ago, without a doubt.

Always be upfront with your health care provider if you choose to use CBD oil. While it is legal, some tests will pick up the CBD oil during a test. This was a good read.. I have been vaping for a few months but never thought to write a blog post about it!

Thank you for stopping by! Have you found that vaping helps too? I checked out your blog- love it! I interviewed several folks with chronic health issues about their use of medical cannabis so perhaps it will be of interest to some of your audience: For the first time in a long time I slept with no pain in my back and neck.

My leg I think needs a little more therapy but a with a little more hemp CBD oil, I will be pain free. I came home raving about it and sharing all about my experience to my family. I use their massage oil all the time and even share it with my Dad who periodically suffers from back pain. I am so glad that you have been able to find some relief!!!

Have had chronic back pain for 16 months. No treatments or medications have helped. I have tried every doc and physical therapy I could write a book. No relief at all. I am wondering if you have found that vaping is more effective than the sublingual products? The materials used in vapes are typically listed online and on the box.

Using a vape with cotton or quartz wick and a titanium, stainless steel or Kanthal heating coil is probably the safest option. As metal wire is heated and cooled repeatedly, an outer layer of metal oxide forms around the wire and prevents further oxidation. If this is a major concern for you as a user and you want to eliminate these contaminants entirely, skip ahead to the section on alternatives to vaping.

If you still intend to vape, you should know a little bit more about oxidation and wire. It is important to realize that many vapes are marketed as having quartz or ceramic heating elements. This is the case in some new vapes, but many still have exposed wire wrapped around a ceramic or quartz core. Vapes like this are still going to leech metal contaminants into the inhaled vapor.

The main two chemicals in CBD e-liquid are propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin. Users with sensitivities to either of these chemicals will notice sinus irritation, nausea or a headache upon use. Individuals with more severe allergies can break out in hives, develop swelling or have difficulty breathing. Lucky for us, both chemicals are so ubiquitous in our everyday lives that it would be nearly impossible to not realize you have an allergy to one of them before you started vaping. Propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin are common ingredients in smoke machine vapor, cosmetics, hair products, food, drinks, cigarettes, medicine and many more products.

Vegetable glycerin allergy is very rare and is more likely caused by an allergy to the plant oil the vegetable glycerin was derived from. Propylene glycol allergies on the other hand are much more common, but entirely avoidable.

As well, pure vegetable glycerin is difficult to use with CBD because it tends to precipitate out of the liquid into crystals. Polyethylene glycol can be added to the vegetable glycerin to allow more CBD to dissolve into the liquid; however, it is extremely bitter and harsh. If quick relief is a concern, high-CBD hemp strains can be smoked or concentrated CBD isolates can be vaporized out of a more traditional water pipe. The disadvantage to this is it is impossible to do in public without looking like an illicit drug user.

A man exhales vapor after using a tank-style vaporizer while using a laptop. Preliminary research suggests vaping is safer than smoking cigarettes, but may still present some health risks, especially for nonsmokers who are considering vaping CBD.

Through a process known as dabbing, a quartz dish is attached to the stem of a glass water pipe and heated up usually with a blowtorch or heating coil. CBD isolate is placed in the quartz dish and vaporized for the user to inhale. This form of consumption is vastly healthier, as the only chemical that the CBD vapor can be contaminated with is water.

Quartz is and inert and durable material. While there may be some health concerns for non-smokers interested in vaping CBD, the exposure to some contaminants is less compared to traditional forms of smoking. Whether or not vaping is right for you, CBD is always an option.

With the information laid out here, you should be able to make a more informed and safe decision about how to consume your CBD. It is important to continue doing more research. Read reviews, watch YouTube videos, read Reddit posts, join a Facebook group and search for more information about whatever product you are interested in before you buy it. Chances are someone else already laid out everything you need to know about any given product.

Until more studies into the long-term effects of vaping are completed and regulations catch up with new technology, it is probably best for non-smokers to avoid vaping entirely. The technology is too new to say definitively that it is safe, especially for sensitive individuals and those with compromised immune systems.

Conklin has investigated how e-cigarettes might affect cardiovascular disease using a type of mouse bred with a disorder that mimics heart disease seen in humans. Acrolein is of particular concern because it is considered to be the main contributor to the increased risk of cardiovascular disease among cigarette smokers, he says.

For 12 weeks, the animals were exposed to traditional cigarette smoke and an e-cigarette aerosol at two concentrations of nicotine, ten and 36 milligrams per milliliter, which spans the range of nicotine usually found electronic cigarette juices.

The mice were also exposed to acrolein by itself at 0. Lastly, a group of mice were exposed to just nicotine in water. Unsurprisingly, standard cigarette smoke had greatest effect, increasing atherosclerosis risk about three times over the baseline. E-cigarettes seemed to also have a dose dependent result. At the higher concentration, 36 milligrams per milliliter of nicotine, the e-cigarette aerosol doubled the risk of atherosclerosis. Even nicotine alone appeared to induce atherosclerosis acceleration in mice, Conklin noted.

Although he stresses the limitations of one experiment performed on mice, they are cause for concern. He also stresses that how these products are used changes rapidly. For example, some e-cigarettes can be tweaked to deliver more vapor. How e-cigarettes are used also adds to the confusion. While there is decades worth of data on how a traditional cigarette is smoked, there is little consistency in how e-cigarettes deliver nicotine and flavor compounds. There are thousands of different flavors, ranging from those that mimic a cigar to bubblegum or blueberry.

It just depends on each individual. The profusion of flavors further complicates the public health picture. Though the different flavors are approved by the FDA as safe for consumption, the environment in the stomach is very different from the lungs. Take popcorn flavoring, for example. Yet avoiding those compounds may be difficult. Recieve emails about upcoming NOVA programs and related content, as well as featured reporting about current events through a science lens.
